Families and friends line Hwy 87 in Crystal Beach, Texas as the sun lights the sky for their location to watch the Annual Mardi Gras Parade, yearly February 26, 2022, with a start time of 11am. The route runs from Bolivar Beach Club & RV Resort where the float judging takes place before the parade starts to Cobb Real Estate where it ends at Gregory Park. Jeeps, Golf Carts, Trucks, and Trailers are decorated in the Mardi gras style as riders throw beads, koozies, candy, and more, from the floats and vehicles as they pass. Kids and Adults love it yearly and many make it a yearly trip to Bolivar Penninsula. Once the parade is over, enjoy some Crawfish or a Fresh Seafood Dinner at one of the area's family-owned restaurants.
