Winnie Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas in the Park and Lighted Parade. Check in begins at 5:30 p.m. on 2nd street next to the Texas Rice Festival building. Parade will start approaximately at 8:00 PM (It gets dark early and is hard to see, so you may park your float anytime after 4:30 PM. Be as creative as possible! The most important part is that your entry be decorated with lights. If your float does not have lights you will not be seen by spectators.
