The Jane Long Festival is all about the "Mother of Texas" herself and her story. The festival is located on the breathtaking grounds of Fort Travis Seashore Park on the point of Bolivar Peninsula and overlooking Galveston Bay and the Houston Ship Channel. For 2016 the Festival will take place two days this year, Saturday October 14 2016 from 4pm-8pm and October 15 2016 10am-5pm and admission is FREE to everyone. Gather up the kids, family and friends and enjoy a day at the Jane Long Festival. With plenty of space for the kids to run free and enjoy the playground it's a great idea for a day trip to Bolivar. Enjoy LIVE Music, History and Arts and Crafts from local artist. The Jane Long Festival is brought to you by the "Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation".
