Fishing Report Week Ending November 18, 2025

The water clarity is still very good for most of East Galveston Bay. This week the early am trout bite was good for us in areas close to deeper channels. Active bait in the area is important, so if you dont see bait or signs of life, dont spend a whole lot of time in the area. We are still using paddle tails under Fish Smack popping corks, with a 1 foot to 18" leader to trigger bites, as well as  Deadley Dudley Rat Tails, and WacAttack Flukes on 1/8 oz heads. The presentation has varied depending upon the day / time/ tide, so you will just have to experiment unitl you find the perfect recipe. The imitation shrimp is also still performing well for our anglers, tipped with FishBites. We have been having our best luck on Redfish in and around grass lines in a foot to 24" of water, with identations / drains /points  being the most productive areas. We have also caught good numbers  of sand trout on the reefs as well as numerous oversize Redfish out on the reefs, when conditions allow. Birds are still working in the Bay so if you like chasing birds, now is the time to hit the water and enjoy all that East Galveston Bay has to offer. The crowds have now thinned out, and the weather looks to be great, so now is the time to schedule your fall / winter fishing trips. Remember we  also have Gift Certificates for those hard to buy for family members and friends.
