We are happy to say, the NEW area Fort Travis Cam is up in full operation with the Home Screen showcasing the Playground, Park, Office and the Bolivar Lighthouse with Hwy 87 in the background. The reputation of Fort Travis has made the history books, gun bunkers still exist and give visitors a glance of the past but what Fort Travis really is a 360 degree view of history, economics and beauty that many haven’t seen until now and it's LIVE. We wanted to bring the beauty of not only Fort Travis but also it’s surroundings to future visitors. The surrounds will keep you just as busy as a walk about the the gun bunkers for a history lesson. With the Fort Travis Zoom Cam, now you can also admire The Bolivar Lighthouse, the Bolivar Ferry and Approach, Seawolf Park, The Kimble Battery, Ships departing for sea and arriving to port. Catch the Cruise Ships as they arrive and depart. Take in the beauty of the area around Fort Travis so you know what to expect when you arrive. Cam views are pre-set for your convenience.
Check back often as preset locations will be added and changed so you can enjoy the best views of our surroundings as the views change throughout the year. When operating the camera, there is about a 6 sec delay on movement, we're working to improve that.
