An evening of family fun happens every year with the Crystaland Parade on Bolivar Peninsula in Crystal Beach Texas. The Crystaland Parade happens the second weekend in December yearly, this is a growing event for Bolivar and starts at the County Courthouse Annex Building, goes down Crystal Beach Drive to the beachfront and east along the beachfront to about Gulf Shores where it makes a U-turn and heads back to the Crystal Beach Fire Station.
Kids love to sit along the parade route and catch candy as the Decorated Golf Carts, Floats and Vehicles Pass by twice. Once at the Fire Station, Santa is waiting and will greet all the children with a gift, and pictures can be taken. Served are Hot Dogs, Cookies and Drinks for all to enjoy. Awards are also given out to Best Decorated Float or Golf Cart along with Best Lighted Home and or Business.
