Bolivar Build A Dream Sandcastle Building Contest will kick off the 2nd Annual Event just as Spring Break starts for many, March 13, 2021, on the Bolivar Peninsula Beachfront in Crystal Beach, Texas! Event times are, Teams Check-in, 8:45am-9:45am, Adults-Building- 10am-3pm, Awards at 4pm, Kids- Building- 10am-2pm Awards- 3pm. Proceeds raised go to Bolivar Peninsula Ministerial Alliance Scholarship Fund.

A full day of family fun and Sandcastle Building on the upper Texas coast in Crystal Beach, Texas. Divisions included are, Adult Division, entry FREE- with awards to first 3 places, 1st- $500, 2nd- $250, 3rd- $100 plus Trophies. The Kids Division, FREE Entry, covers Kindergarten thru 8th grade with awards to top 3 places, 1st- $50, 2nd- $25, 3rd- $10 plus trophies. Special Prizes will be given to, Youngest Contestant, Longest Distance Traveled, and Oldest Contestant.
For 2021, designs are open to your imagination, mammals, castles or anything cool. All sandcastles will be judged on style, difficulty, and artistic show. 4 independent judges will judge.
Pre-registration is required by calling (409) 684-6231 Monday thru Friday 10am-4pm. Check-in 9:00am-9:45am, building is 10am-3pm, Awards at 4pm. Minors must have a parent or guardian on-site at all times. All tools, buckets, forms, etc must be supplied by contestants. The total Build area will be 10’x10’, any size build is permitted in the designated area, location will be assigned to each team. Spaces for Adults and Kids are limited, reserve your team's space early. Rain-out date if needed is March 20, 2021. Build Sand will be beach sand.
