Spring Break 2021 has started with a brush fire on the west side of Monkhouse and burnt out at, The Washout all the way to the dunes. Crystal Beach, High island, and Port Bolivar Volunteer Fire departments all took the call and contained the fire quickly. Winds didn't help to spread to the beach.
