The Texas coast and Fall is an amazing time to get out and explore the Bolivar Peninsula and Crystal Beach area. Most all mornings start with a painted sky as the sun breaks the horizon over the Texas Coast. With mild temperatures, wondering around Bolivar and Crystal Beach, Texas is enjoyable and relaxing. For Birders it's about time to start checking those back ponds along some of the side roads, make a trip to the Anahuac Refuge as the wintering waterfowl start the migration. If you're just ready to relax, take a chair to the beach, kick back with a book, watch and listen to the coastal curls as they crash the shore and look, you never know what may wash up!!! Don't lose track of time and remember to watch west as the day comes to an end for our Texas Sunset over Galveston Bay, I love a trip to French Town Road for the sunset or on Loop 108 by the Lighthouse, the view across the coastal marsh is one you'll never forget. Come and....Explore Bolivar Peninsula...you'll love it!!!
