We’re ending October 2021 with a BANG in Crystal Beach, Texas!!!! The 5th Annual Brad & Big Rich’s Cajun Chef’s Cookoff and it’s all taking place at Festival Park, 1605 Hwy 87, Crystal Beach, Texas, October 16, 2021!!!

Round-up the family, call up your friends, make it a weekend on Bolivar Peninsula for this full day family fun event of Cajun Food, Cajun Music, Washer Tournament and Craft Show. Anytime you put up to 20 of the BEST Cajun Cooking Teams together in a location, the best Washer Tournament Players and Hand Made Crafts with LIVE Cajun Music, you’re bound to have a great time, with family fun and taste some awesome food.

We’re bringing in the best judges to taste and rate in combination Seafood Gumbo, Chef’s Choice and Bloody Mary’s from each team. Only after the tally is added up will we know who is the BEST!!!! The public will also be a judge for the Peoples Choice Award, a coveted award for Cooking Teams from all over!!!

Enjoy the day with family and friends, kick-back and listen to some great cajun music, taste some great Seafood Gumbo and Bloody Mary at this 5th annual event!!! Sample Cups will be sold for all to enjoy the savory Gumbo and Life-Changing Bloody Mary’s.

10 Team Limit, Team Entry Fee- $100, Setup: 7 AM; Cooking Starts: 8 AM
Judged on Bloody Mary- 11am & Seafood Gumbo- 12pm, Chef's Choice at 1pm, in combination.

Awards at 4:30 PM
Trophies plus cash, 1st- $1000, 2nd- $250 and 3rd- $100, including People's Choice Award
