The Peninsula Sports Park is Heating-up the cooking oil to raise funds needed in the rebuild of the Little League Field our kids on Bolivar want, need and enjoy for an american past-time.... Little League Baseball!!! Lets all do what we can in making this dream come true for our kids on Bolivar. September 10th 2016 at the Port Bolivar Fire Department, "2016 Fish Fry Fundraiser" kicks-off at Noon!!! Raffles and 50/50 split pot, fish plates $15.00, Drinks and Desserts $1.00. Take-outs available!!!
The Stingaree Saltwater Slam Fishing Tournament is set for September 17th, Calcutta Friday night at Tiki Beach Bar and Grill with the weigh-in and awards Saturday at Stingaree Restaurant and Marina along with a KIDS Hardhead Tournament Saturday Morning at Stingaree Marina.
Port Bolivar Volunteer Fire Department's 18th Annual Bar-B-Que Cook-off September 23 and 24 2016. A weekend event fun for the whole family. Pit-Masters show off for all to enjoy some of the Best Texas BBQ around. Plates will be available with donation and Homemade Desserts are alway tasty. Peninsula Sport Park- Grand Slam Flounder Tournament, October 22, 2016 6am-5pm. Out of the Bolivar Yacht Basin raising funds for rebuilding the Peninsula Sports Park for our youth on Bolivar Peninsula. Bringing Baseball back to Bolivar for our youth!!!
Love Cajun Music, can you cook... well gather your team for the Stingaree Restaurant and Marina1st Brad & Big Riches Cajun Cook-off!!! With Live Cajun Music planned for the day and 15 of the best cajun cooking teams it's sure to be an event to savor. Pot's and Pit's fire-up around 7am and top-teams named at 3pm. Gumbo, Chef's Choice and Bloody Mary are the set categories for each team. Entry Fee will be $150 plus 100% payout of side-pot to 1st place. 1st- $1000 plus side-pot, 2nd $500 and 3rd $200. Sample cups sold for a taste of the best Gumbo on the upper Texas Coast. Cash Prizes and trophy awarded to Publics Choice Winner will be awarded.
