We’re winding down summer on Bolivar but the fun isn’t gonna stop anytime soon so make plans for the weekends once school starts for our clean beaches, live music and fall events. The Stingaree Saltwater Slam Fishing Tournament is set for September 17th, Calcutta Friday night at Tiki Beach Bar and Grill with the weigh-in and awards Saturday at Stingaree Restaurant and Marina along with a KIDS Hardhead Tournament Saturday Morning at Stingaree.
The Jane Long Festival (website coming this week) is October 14th and 15th this year, yes a 2 day event with more fun for the whole family, games for the kids, live music, rein actors and tours of the old gun batteries which have been cleaned and some even lighted. What better way to spend a couple days than a history lesson with live music and more….
