With cooler temperatures and kids in school, many have missed time at the beach over the last 45-60 days. Football season, Deer season, Volleyball and Basket Ball all took front seat. With 3 days off for most adults and a week off for some kids many spend Thanksgiving on Bolivar as a last hoorah before Christmas and travel for the Christmas Holidays. Once Christmas is past we’ll fill-up again for the week coming into New Years Eve. We hope you can make make one of the up coming extended weekends and come visit.

Tiki Beach Bar and Grill for the 14 year will have a feast made for a king!!! Every year Karen and Chris Gatlin open-up the Tiki Beach Bar and Grill here on Bolivar for a Thanksgiving Day Feast, Turkey with all the fixings and Desserts with Football on the BIG Screens. Don’t wait to late there’s plenty of Home Cooked Food but it’s getting Bigger and Bigger each year. Come one come all and enjoy a feast at the beach!!!”
“Shop Local” is set for Saturday November 28th, hot all the shops-n-stores on Bolivar and Crystal Beach Texas for a Black Saturday of Specials and Give-Aways by some. Support our local Shops-n-Stores over the Thanksgiving Holidays.
Once Thanksgiving Day is done, it’s back open for all on the Bolivar and in Crystal Beach. Restaurants will have the fresh seafood we’ve all come to enjoy and with Oyster Season in full swing many have them on the half-shell or cooked some of our favorite ways. We do know Stingaree Restaurant has brought back “Oyster Jubilee” which is a 4 course meal of oysters if you ask me!!!
